Virat Kohli, the batter for Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB), met Sachin Tendulkar, his childhood idol and God of Cricket. The meeting took place ahead of the IPL match 2023 between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both Kohli and Sachin appeared to be enjoying each other as they were both spotted smiling.
RCB shared the video of Virat and Sachin Tendulkar chatting before their mega-clash on social media. Kohli can be seen whispering into Sachin Tendulkar’s ear and then burst into laughter. The Master Blaster is also seen smiling widely.
Mumbai Indians had also posted a photo of the players earlier, which was enough to ignite the internet. The fans were in awe when they saw two of the best batters from their respective generations share the same picture.
The game must be won by both RCB and MI
The focus of attention will be the epic clash between RCB vs MI. In IPL 2023, both teams have the same number of points. Both RCB & MI have won 5 out of 10 matches so far, and are adjacent in the point table.
Both teams will have to win this game as Rohit Sharma’s team prepares to face Faf du Pleissis’ RCB. RCB will be able to reach the top of the table if they defeat MI. MI will then secure a spot in the top 4. Both teams need to win in order to remain alive in the competition. It is a game that both RCB & MI must win.
